Do yourself a favor and just watch 'Spotlight'. It will only take the first few minutes for you to realize this is going to be an engaging ride. It does an excellent job of highlighting the investigative journalist's awesome works and struggles along the way and make you a part of it. Based on a harsh but true story it plays with fire and comes out victorious.
Highs: Very intriguing story written with a detective-style script that builds up momentum and speed along the way. Characters are very well written and you feel everything the movie wants to achieve.
Lows: Some part of the movie is too complicated and does not do a perfect job of explaining everything.
