Based on a true incident about three white man's prison days and eventually successful escape in racism torn South African in the late '70s. The script heavily borrows from the true historic evidence and stays true to its characters. However, the storytelling part lacks fascination and fails to create an impact.
Highs: A very real and intriguing plot. Innovativeness in the prison break genre of movies and fiction. Excellent creation of the late 70's South Africa and historic reference at the end of the film are praiseworthy.
Lows: Fails to create the suspenseful environment it so badly desires to. Acting is average. Fails to draw attention with its one-dimensional plot.
