Sicario is an undistorted/straight-forward action thriller movie that is built over a simple plot of revenge, guilt, and violence. Audio and direction is clever and subtle and makes an overall decent movie. Regrettably, lack of story and character depth hinders the progress of the film as an outstanding motion picture and never really executes a predominant performance.
Highs: Audio engineering is great. High pitched action theme also suits the atmosphere of the film and performs some enthralling scenes. The sagacious accomplishment of some nice twist is also some of the strength of the script.
Lows: The story severely suffers from a lack of extent and intensity. Characters also feel puzzling and the narrative fails on many occasions to describe things acutely.
