Frightening, suspenseful, mysterious, edge of the seat horror film; Pet Sematary is destined to be meet your cravings for a story-driven scary movie. Not necessarily an extra jump scary affair but it's a fresh take on horror films and rewards the audience highly by the time credits roll. Acting and presentation are far from flawless but a strong, crisp script and careful filmmaking hold on their own.
Highs: The 'what's gonna happen' factor driven by the story feels top-notch. The satisfying and creepy ending also deserves credit.
Lows: Acting all in all could have been better and presentation is does not hit the mark for an otherwise tremendous horror movie.
