A very carefully made romantic movie that is true to the genre and superbly acted by the main leads. Well-paced and written with panache Love & other Drugs generates enough emotion to bring tears to the eyes of the audience who appreciates its kind. The only thing it fails to do is being an all-around entertainer beyond just another romantic movie.
Highs: Some touchy and heartfelt scenes and the brilliant acting by the entire cast adds to that. Spawns a ton of memorable moments and the ending feels incredibly satisfying.
Lows: Unfortunately does not offer anything for non-Romantic movie lovers. Barely funny enough to produce solid laughs or wittiness. The movie feels like a one-track-minded child at times that is just plain annoying for periods.
