'The modern age of movie' is great.
But sometimes it stills feels like it lacks the simplicity, the
naivety, the innocence of movies from 80's and 90's. Bird Box does a
fantastic job of aligning those components with the modern day movie. An absolute spectacle of technicality in film making and story telling.
Highs:
The thrill of the story is unparalleled and there is no shortage of
memorable moments. Acting including lead and
supporting actors are at top level. Visual effects, motion and audio are mind blowing and creates a new bar of those technicalities for the entire film
industry.
Lows: Ending feels slightly predictable and fails to create an impact.
