If you are a big fan of Jonah Hill then you must be curious to find out how he did as a director. The answer is he did phenomenally. It's a remarkable movie that will take you down the trip of nostalgia like no other movie ever did (considering you are a target audience like me: strictly 90's kids).
Highs: Lead Sunny Suljic is a superstar and his talents are properly used. Supporting acts are also very strong and hold on their own. The storytelling has an unconventional style to it and if you are patient you'll see it paying off. Great theme and recreation of the '90s.
Lows: Exclusively made for a certain target audience so the rest of the viewers might not connect to it as much. The narrative is slightly blurry at some scenes.
